How do I attach flowers, etc to skin without spirit gum?

Question by lisa w: How do I attach flowers, and so on to skin with out spirit gum?
I am photographing some models this weekend, and want a quite nature-spirit search. The makeup style I've come up with involves attaching flowers/butterflies, etc to their skin. I don't have a costume shop in my location - what can I use to temporarily attach these items to their skin?
ALSO, I want to be able to choose it up at a drug store/walmart/and so on. as that's all I've offered to me with out driving a
